Juneberry/Serviceberry (Downy)

Amelanchier arborea. Native to Eastern North America, grows about 20 ft tall. Like other serviceberries, it flowers early in the spring (before the leaves come out) showing off abundant white fragrant flowers followed by tasty dark red/purple berries. Attracts many birds and pollinators. Zones 4-9.
